The enterprise Nostalie was founded almost 25 years ago.
Nostalgie in 1994.
It started as an antique / brocante shop in Bennebroek, the Netherlands.
At the beginning I traded all kinds of antiques, mostly from France.
Within a view years I was known as the “Lampenman”, the guy who is specialized in lighting fixtures.
I traded and restored antique chandeliers and all kinds of old lamps.
Almost all of my clients were other traders and shop owners.
The demand was higher then I could supply.
To resolve this problem I developed my own new products,
Word spread around within the event industry, and I soon landed my first rental job.
The rental business took off.
Since then I have created quite a big collection, of which some chandeliers are 100% own design.
Nostalgie BV is a family run business.
“De Telegraaf” a major Dutch newspaper, wrote an article about us:
